After Drilling For Life (DFL) drilled a borehole last year, we were back this year to do the installation works. In the month of May, we mobilized our installation team. The task involved included pump installation, storage, piping works and solarizing the borehole.

The installation works went well, the pump was lowered, the tank raised and all the piping works done. The solar structure raised, solar panels installed and the wiring was done.

After all the different elements were put in place and the automation done, the water was pumped to the storage tank and from there to various points.

This water will serve the nearby community who walk far to get water. This will also fast track other community projects like academic facilities.
